With the rapid development of information technology, great progress has been made inthe construction of enterprise, system software represented by ERP and PDM has beengradually applied in enterprise. However, information transmission in the shop floor stilldepends on paper documents, paper media such as drawings, procedures and work list are stillrequired to instruct workers’ operation in the process of production. In order to make full useof information resources of enterprise, a process information management system oriented tomanufacture executive system (MES) is proposed in this article. By means of MES, thesystem built up the information bridge between enterprise planning layer and workshopcontrolling layer. Sending rich and intuitive technical materials such as technology drawings,3D model, assembly process along with information about shop floor resources such as rawmaterials, equipment, tools and the like, which are related to manufacturing tasks, to thestations of the workshop, the system laid a foundation for realization of the informatization ofenterprise’s whole production process. The paper has mainly completed the following work:1)In consider of the system’ s advancement and openness,as well as reserving space forextension and upgrade,the system is developed by B/S structure MVC design pattern. Thesystem’s model, view and controller layer is developed by comprehensive use ofStruts2+Spring+Hibernate frameworks.2)Based on product structure tree, process and technical information from PDM such asproducts’2-D drawing sheets,3-D model, work guidance and so on as well as informationabout production tasks, material resource from ERP are sorted by category.3)In order to solve the problem of informationized management of workshop site’sproduction resource,production resources such as materials, equipments, tools are sorted bycategory. In the meantime,a tree of workshop model is established using ISA95standard forreference to provide location information of production resource in workshop.4)The module of task distribution is developed for the dispatcher to send technicalmaterials and information about workshop resource such as raw materials, equipment, toolsand so on, which are related to production tasks, to the stations of the workshop where thetasks are executed.5)In order to control different user groups’ access to different modules, privilegemanagement module of the system is developed based on the three tiers control mode ofprivilege-role-user; Enterprise’s department structure tree is constructed, combining with role-privilege management to realize the integrated management of enterprise’s department, personnel and privilege.
