With the rapid development of computer, communication technology and the deeppening of the welding production enterprise reform, welding production enterprise information management level is constantly improved and has achieved a series of achievements, and it has become an effective tool for production and management of every leading welding manufacturing enterprise , but the existing workshop management system can not complete the regional collaboration, resulting in waste of resources, certain constraints of scope of applications, certain restrictions of functional play. Studying in grid-based manufacture of welding workshop information integration system, linking the product management system with grid, using the huge capacity and processing power of grid on integrating resources to achieve more advanced optimal allocation which will make a positive facilitating role on effectively solving these problems.The basic characteristics of grid technology, manufacturing grid technology as well as workflow technology is described, making full use of manufacturing grid workflow technology to achive the unique advantages of sharing and interaction of various types of manufacturing resources, constructing the overall framework of grid-based manufacture of welding workshop information integration system based on the analysis of management needs in welding workshop, this system is divided into two major sub-systems, including manufacturing grid resource management sub-system and welding workshop information integration sub-system, leading workflow technology into the manufacturing grid resource management sub-system for the design of the development of infrastructure of workflow system, workflow definition as well as the key design of manufacturing grid middleware,which mainly including LRM modules, manufacturing grid Qos modules and GRM Broker module, and completing the design of interface which integrated with the welding workshop of information sub-system; the design of each functional module including system maintenance, employee information management, production process information management, production operations information management, welding equipment information management, resource materials information management and service agents and so on is completed,which starts from welding production reality. The functions of conforming, calling various types of welding production resources in the manufacturing grid environment, as well as management and integration informations which related to the welding workshop production process can be finished by this system, idle resources and advantages of resources which scattered in the welding workshop in the form of grid service node is packed unified, and uniform resource access entrances and transparent resource services is provided to users in order to achieve the purposes of sharing resources and data, the real-time supervision and feedback on the status of welding workshop production will be realized, deficiencies of human intervention which appeared too much and slow transmission on information during production and management will helped to be solved.
