The garment industry is a typical material and labor-intensive industries, which manages a large number of human, finance, resources and complex production process in it. With the development of information technology, many large garment enterprises are beginning to realize the importance of the establishment of management information systems, using electronic information technology to change the management method and improve production efficiency. It can integrate customer needs, internal production activities, as well as the resources of the supply chain to achieve the effective management of all aspects. Enterprise resource planning (ERP) system becomes an important support for promoting the development of garment enterprises. ERP system can achieve data transfer and information sharing among the various departments and business, significantly improving the operational efficiency of enterprises. Procurement management is an important part of the ERP system and it located at the starting position in the business operations. It directly impacts on the flow of inventory management and enterprise funds, so that the reasonable choice of supplier is an important guarantee to reduce costs, increase business flexibility, and improve the competitiveness in procurement. Therefore, the suppliers system with fast reasonable choice of procurement has important significance.In the system, a supplier decision-making algorithm based on AHP and information entropy is designed for supplier decision problem. According to the actual situation of the plant to establish evaluation index system of supplier selection, the selection and evaluation issue of the material suppliers is solved by the introduction of the Analytic Hierarchy Process, and changed the qualitative process to quantitative process. Meanwhile, because of subjective factors and preferences in AHP when solving multi-objective decision, the information entropy technical based on the value of the objective evaluation is introduced to determine the objective weight of indicators. Thereby subjective weight and objective weight weight by addition and multiplication algorithm obtained by combining a combination of weight both to keep the plant supplier selection principle, but also from an objective to improve, so the algorithm can be used as the evaluation and selection of materials supplier basis. By examples of the results of the evaluation analysis shows that the AHP and entropy algorithm combining evaluation and selection of supplier is more reliable and effective than by AHP only.In this paper, a garment factory is taken as example, a materials procurement subsystem in clothing enterprise ERP system is designed and implemented based on B/S structure using popular J2EE technology. The basis of the evaluation and selection of materials suppliers is the combination weight which combined with the subjective weight and objective weight. It is proved that the algorithm combined with AHP and information entropy is more objective and effective than using AHP only in evaluation and selection of supplier by analyzing the sample evaluation results. The decision algorithm is successfully applied to the material procurement subsystem. And its implementation not only reduces the time of procurement personnel decisions of suppliers, effectively improve the efficiency of their work, but also provides a more comprehensive and reasonable basis in the evaluation process. Moreover, the decision algorithm has verified the feasibility of the decision support algorithms in the system.
