Research On The Evaluation Of Digital Resources Of University Library From The Perspective Of Knowledge Service

Knowledge service is a concept to provide knowledge for users. With the knowledgeenvironment ubiquitous, the knowledge tools intelligential and the knowledge technologyadvancing, the traditional using environment of university library has changed. Literature,information, knowledge and tools involved in the process of users to use have changed to digital.In the digital environment, knowledge is the core that user pursuing, and the digital resources areefficient information tools for users. The digital resources in a certain extent reflect entityinstances of knowledge, and any part of the knowledge service cannot be done without digitalresources. From the angle of knowledge service, this thesis constructs the evaluation indexsystem of digital resources of university library, in order to assist to purchase the digitalresources rationally, to carry the reasonable appraisal on the content of digital resources, topromote digital collections of library and utilization rate of digital resources. Finally, we promotedigital resources to become effective tools to support the knowledge service.Based on analyzing the relevant research results at domestic and abroad, we build theevaluation index system of digital resources of university library from the point of knowledgeservice process and the actual needs of users, and make the empirical analysis by usingmathematical method. This study is divided into five chapters. Chapter one describes theresearch background and significance of the study, reviews the research status at home andabroad and introduces the research methods and innovation points. Chapter two describes therelevant theories of the knowledge service and digital resources evaluation, at the same timeconstructs the knowledge service and digital resources diamond system, and analyzes theadvantage and process of the evaluation of digital resources in the environment of knowledgeservice. The third chapter, firstly points out the principle of constructing evaluation index system,and constructs the evaluation index of digital resources in university library facing knowledgeservice. Then, under the guidance of the analytic hierarchy process (AHP), we determine theweight of the indexes at all levels in order to understand the importance of evaluation index. Theforth chapter conducts the empirical study on the evaluation index system by using the quasipseudo entropy fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. We adjust the subjective weight in AHPusing the quasi pseudo entropy. In the method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation we evaluateRiZhao Campus Library of Qufu Normal University to show the applicability evaluation indexsystem. The last chapter summarizes this thesis, points out the inadequacies of the study, andprospects the further research.In summary, this study researches on digital resources evaluation based on the perspective of knowledge service through combining concept and target of knowledge service with digitalresources. This system is similar to the previous system of digital resources evaluation index,except for it is from a fresh new perspective. It considered the process in using digital resourcesso it can play a certain reference role to promote the transformation from resources to knowledge,and provide a reference for the subsequent research.
