Large quantity and small size are two basic characteristics of small andmedium-sized manufacturing enterprises in China. The problems, such as backwardmanufacturing technology, insufficient information resources, deficiency of developingcapacity and corresponding researcher, etc, greatly restrict the development ofmanufacturing enterprise, which makes it unable to adapt to the trend of modernmanufacturing informatization.Aiming at the shortcomings of manufacturing enterprises, cloud manufacturingwith a new type of service-oriented manufacturing mode is put forward and excellentlysatisfies the development requirements of modern manufacturing enterprises. As one ofthe key technologies for cloud manufacturing system, the optimization model andcorresponding solving mechanism of manufacturing resources will directly affect theaccuracy and efficiency of the manufacturing resource configuration in cloudmanufacturing platform. Therefore, combining with the national natural science fund“research of the cloud method of the bottom processing equipment for cloudmanufacturing”(51005260), this paper focuses on the resources scheduling problem incloud manufacturing.First, this paper introduces the development course of manufacturing industry,existing manufacturing mode and the significance of cloud manufacturing. Then, theresearch status of cloud manufacturing and manufacturing resource optimizationconfiguration is discussed. Meanwhile, the concept, characteristics and operation modeof cloud manufacturing are expounded in detail and the main similarities anddifferences between cloud manufacturing and existing advanced manufacturing modeare analyzed.Second, based on the elaborate explanation of cloud manufacturing resources typesand characteristics, the problem of cloud manufacturing resources optimizationconfiguration is systematically discussed. After the formal definition of the resourceoptimized configuration and manufacturing resources, the cloud manufacturingresources optimization configuration process is designed and the pre-selection, primary,and optimization of cloud manufacturing resources are fully discussed. During theprimary stage, the evaluation index is selected according to the principles ofestablishing cloud manufacturing resources evaluation system and a multi-objective model of cloud manufacturing resources is founded based on fuzzy analytic hierarchyprocess; For the optimization process, a cloud manufacturing resources optimizationmathematical model based on the total cost is proposed by using the main target methodand solved by Max Inherit Optimization.Finally, the resources optimization mathematical model and its algorithm areemployed in an example. The results are compared to that calculated by geneticalgorithm, which verifies the validity and stability of the optimization model and itssolution algorithm.
