Under the ground of the development of globalization, the risk which was caused by human beings has taken the place of the risk which was caused by nature to be the main risk of our risk structure of the society. The risks of humans include four aspects:nature, politics, economy and society. In this kind of society, any significant risk events can be able to be injurious to our government and the public. As an aspect of communication in reporting risk events, risk communication plays a very important part in the whole process of the risk event, such as transmitting the risk information, helping the government and the public reach an agreement on the risk event and promoting ethnic groups’unity. In the period of the media’s attaching to the market, these risk events are been taken care of by the public media because of the instant attention. These events are taken as a tool to attract the audience’s attention. Under the influence of paid, some media editors speculate these risk events and even fabricate them. These people abandon the professional morality and the media literacy, contrary to the principle of the accuracy of news, they even lead the development of these risk events to the direction of the deterioration, this behavior has seriously affected the social stability and unity and the resolution of these risk events. How to construct the media editors’media literacy in transmitting risk events already became the urgent task in contemporary journalism and communication studies. This article summarized the acts of the lack of media literacy of the media editors in the communication of the risk events. Then made the conclusion of the cause of these appearances through the media environment, the media psychology, the psychology of audience, communication theory and other aspects of these phenomena. Then found the way to improve the media literacy in risk communication. This article also presented an opinion to the law, hardware facilities, the media editors’ personality, the exchanges of ideas of different medias and other aspects. It tried to fundamentally manage the unstandard behaviors in risk communication and make the media editors play a positive energy in risk communication.
