Each sensor is responsible for temporarily storing its own detected data in large scalewireless sensor networks, and then transmits the data to sink through appropriate routingprotocol. Since energy of the node is mainly supplied by the battery in wireless sensornetwork, so it is severely limited. Therefore, one of the hot points in wireless sensornetworks is how to design an energy-efficient routing to transmit the data packets to thesink accurately and as long as possible to extend the survival time of the network. In thispaper, we focus on how to reduce unnecessary energy consumption of the node andexpand the following two aspects:Firstly, we combine compress sensing with routing protocol design.the sink collectsensed data as little as possible from other sensors. Also we consider the relationshipbetween the number of nodes and reconstruction error. Experimental simulation showsthat comparing with transmitting the data packet directly through routing withoutcompress sensing, the transmission energy consumption of the node reduced more withusing compress sensing.Secondly, we research on the network layer of the AODV ((Ad-hoc On-DemandDistance Vector)) routing protocol. AODV flooding broadcast route request packet, it willlead to transit a large number of unnecessary control packets in the whole network. Toaddress this problem, this paper proposes a new modification: let the route request packetforward to the direction of the destination node. Firstly decide whether the distance ofcurrent node from destination is greater than the previous, if it is true, then the node willnot forward packet, after that according to the angle formed by previous node anddestination, it will judge whether current nodes forwards the packet again. Throughsimulation, we obtain the new protocol has been some improvement on the number ofRREQ packet and node survival. Finally, We analysis application scenarios between routing protocol based oncompress sensing and AODV protocol. In order to reduce the number of transmittingnodes, sink reconstruct the original signal by using compress sensing for saving energy and make it more suitable for wireless sensor networks. AODV is the Ad_hoc networkrouting algorithm, which does not consider the energy problem. In our paper we saveenergy through reducing the number of packets and make it more situable for wirelesssensor networks...
