Xinjiang external communication is an important part of China’s externalcommunication. In the dissertation, the author is trying to research how to build up anobjective and comprehensive image of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region andthe country by the radio and television programs, which has been sent to othercountries, from the perspective ofAesthetics in Journalism.Xinjiang is located in the hinterland of the Eurasian Continental, adjacent toChina’s northwestern border, surrounded by eight countries, along the border of5600kilometers, or about a quarter of the total length of the land border. The specialgeographical location and surrounding environment determines the importance andstrategic significance of Xinjiang external communication.External communication by the radio and television are important as an externalcommunication way. Based on the aesthetic analysis, the paper shows the aestheticcharacteristics of the Xinjiang external communication programs on radio andtelevision, exploring the aesthetic creation ways and laws. In the view, we hope thatnot only for the audience to the information, but also to guide the audience to deepenthe awareness of China, especially Xinjiang. Enjoying the beauty and resonance, thetarget audiences could accept and recognize the unique value of the aesthetic cultureof traditional Chinese culture.
