The Study Of Chinese IPTV In International Communication

Reform and development of Internet technology has changed research direction of theChinese TV’s international communication, the new media in the application ofinternational communication is becoming a hot spot of current research. This articleselects the representatives of the new media, Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) asthe research object, from the concept of Internet Protocol Television, the backgroundof IPTV is first discussed, as well as the development situation of IPTV at home andabroad at present. Then the author analyzes the IPTV is different by comparing withtraditional TV international communication, Chapter iii and Chapter iv are the mainpart of this article, after the analysis of the "three pillar" competitive situation ofdomestic IPTV, the author selects the China network television (CNTV) and PPLiveas case study, and analyzes the differences in the content resources, management andtechnology, thus the bottleneck of CNTV in international communication is putforward.The analysis above led to the author think on the question of "build nationalinternational communication strategy" under the new media environment, the articlefinally illustrates the integration of content from the program source, the programform, program language; Followed integrating the IPTV industry value chain and theoperation and management system; Finally is a brief overview of the integration ofnetwork technology represented by streaming media and web2.0. The ways ofintegration above are innovation suggestions in this paper in the IPTV internationalcommunication.
