The Development Status And Trend Of International Strategic Innovation Alliance In The Category Of Marine Economy

In the resources-lacking times, many countries focus on the marine resources, encouraging corporations to develop high technologies to exploit and employ marine resources. Most corporations want to establish alliances to share risks and research costs, then there appear some strategic innovation alliances in the marine industries. And our "twelfth five-year plan" and the The eighteenth National Congress of the CPC also put forward the goal of strengthening China’s marine powers, encouraging corporations to take part in the development of marine economy and develop marine emerging technologies with preferential policies.Now in the trend of globalization, numerous international corporations hunt for companions to develop technologies. These indentured alliances where members share risks and profits are called international strategic innovation alliances, which are tech-oriented. The development of strategic innovation alliances provide marine industries with wonderful developing chances, especially those marine industries that rely deeply on the high tech. The members can share research costs and risks, pool research human resources and share the technology outcomes.The objectives of this thesis are to provide academic bases, methods and policy recommendations for the development of China’s marine technologies. This thesis conducts with theoretical and empirical methods, it gives some examples of current technological levels of China’s marine industries, testifies empirically that it is more efficient to establish the strategic innovation alliances in certain marine industries, summarizes the characters of the practices of strategic innovation alliances in China and other countries, trying to provide some references,First of all, this thesis focuses on the China and other countries’ academic researches of strategic innovation alliances, summarizing the connotation, the causes of formation, the development and the classifications of strategic innovation alliances. Then in the specific research body, first this thesis summarizes the current technological levels of China’s marine industries. Then, it works out that which marine industries rely more on the technologies with the Grey Correlation Model, coming up with some policies on the basis of the empirical outcomes. Following that, it searches lots of alliance practice cases in both China and the other countries and summarizes the industrial layout, development trend of these already established strategic innovation alliances, providing some practical references for the development of identical marine industries in China. Al last, on the basis of the above researches, the thesis provide some policies and recommendations for the development of the strategic innovation alliances in the category of marine industries.The thesis finds that strategic innovation alliances generally appear first in the more developed marine industries through the whole research and of courses in the more development marine countries. The development of China’s strategic innovation alliance in the marine category is in the early stage, it is practical to raise the technology levels through establishing alliances with international high-tech corporations. More, strategic marine industries rely more on the high technologies, especially the marine resources industry which is consisted of sea water utilization industry and marine oil and gas industry. It is more practical to establish strategic innovation alliance in these kind of marine industry. Among the factors of technology, the research human resources and research funds factors contribute differently to the different marine industries Now, the research of strategic innovation alliances in the marine industry is developing, both the practice and the theoretical research need to develop and deepen. This thesis just provides the footing stones for the further development.
