Study On The Influencing Factors Of Library Reference Team’s Knowledge Transfer Performance

With the geometrically growth of the knowledge production in the era of knowledge economy, the number and variety of the library’s collections are also increasing rapidly. The library has a wealth of knowledge resources which makes it formed its own unique competitive advantage but also creates difficulties and inconvenience to the library user. The main tasks and objectives of the library reference team are providing the necessary reference services to library users to solve the various problems encountered by the user using of library knowledge resources, and consolidate and strengthen the knowledge status and role of libraries in social development.This paper first defines the relationship between knowledge transfer of library and library reference team, and briefly describes knowledge transfer path of library reference team. And then focus on internal and external factors affecting the knowledge transfer performance of the library reference team. The internal factors which affect knowledge transfer performance of library reference team include the qualifications, roles, and their structure of the members of library reference team, communication, trust, authorization, conflict and learning of library reference team (push/pull), evaluation and incentives of library reference team, as well as the culture of library reference team; external factors including the library living environment, degree of library support (including technical support (refer to external technical support, excluding technical capacity of the librarian), resources and institutional support), the level of cooperation between library reference team and the other teams, the user knowledge requirement and knowledge absorptive capacity, etc. Library reference team in the clear knowledge transfer performance of various influence factors, also selected domestic and foreign more representative case studies related presentations.
