Research On Operation-maintenance Of Data-exchange System Based On ITIL

With the development of oil enterprise information construction, currently, oil enterpriseis still in the exploratory stage on the operation-maintenance of information systems. In orderto establish a complete and standard system of the operation and maintenance management, inrecent years, enterprises have gradually introduced ITIL. ITIL is a set of common methodswhich is used in the field of IT system operation-maintenance management. How to combinethe ITIL theory and enterprise business operation-maintenance and then implement the ITILsuccessfully, is still need to adjust the ITIL theory combine the enterprise’s features. Currently,the oil enterprise is still in the process of information, how to implement the ITIL foroperation-maintenance of information systems, at the same time ensure the development ofsystem smooth, and integrate development-maintenance and operation-maintenance is aproblem which the oil enterprise need to solve urgently.In response to these problems, this paper presents an mode of ITIL-based informationsystem operation-maintenance management. This model extend the traditional cycle ofoperation and maintenance to the development phase of IT project,and develope the operationand maintenance procedures of different stages and then apply the mode of operation andmaintenance to the data-exchange system. Specific studies are as follows:(1) Analyzing the current status of operation and maintenance of oil company, andproposing a framework of information systems operation and maintenance based on the ITIL.In order to implement the operation-maintenance management of information system betterand implement the entire life-cycle operation and maintenance of information system, thisframework which based on ITIL processes, combine with the characteristics of IT projectdevelopment phase and increase maintenance process of development phase. Meanwhile, inorder to gradually accumulate experience in operation and maintenance of enterprise, set upthe operation and maintenance of knowledge management processes, to achieve the full lifecycle of IT project maintenance.(2) Designing the maintenance process of development phase. According to the actualsituation,the good management of the software development process can provide a referencefor the operation-maintenance phase. Development-maintenance and operation-maintenanceare complementary. Therefore,adding management process for the development on the basicof ITIL.Operating and maintenancing all aspects of the development phase through documentmanagement, project development,progress monitoring and knowledge management,make it more suitable for the requires of enterprise IT system operation-maintenance,achieving fulllife-cycle operation-maintenance of IT system.(3) Introducing knowledge management in the operation-maintenance system anddesigning knowledge processes.The goal of knowledge management is to ensure the peopleobtain secure and reliable information in the entire life-cycle of IT system,thereby increasingthe level of organizational operation-maintenance management. Through the research onenterprise businesses,the knowledge management process can be divided into:knowledge-editand classification,knowledge submission and storage,knowledge audit and evaluation as wellas knowledge publishing and sharing.Finally, through the study of this subject,developing a prototype system of ITIL basedoperation and maintenance, then applied to “the data-exchange system” and obtained goodresults.
