The System Of Transmission Based On IEEE-1394Connector

IEEE-1394interface supports hig-speed serial data transmission, it is widely used in image-transmission and data-acquisition system also for its simple cable interconnection and easy plug and play.In this paper, we introduce an image-acquisition,transmission and analysis system based on IEEE-1394. We realize a laser automatic measure system by means of capturing the image sent by the laser and using software to decide the quality of the laser image. In this system, ALTERA CYCLONE series FPGA and SYCLION8051series MCU is introduced. While FPGA is used to receive TV images, store and transmit them to PC, MCU is used to initialize the system, communicate with PC and apply for1394transport channel.It is proved that this system can capture the laser’s image and transmit it to PC for further analysis, which functions as a real automatic measure system.
