It combines the So C and FPGA respective advantages, and have the software and hardware in-system programmable, scalable, extensible, scalable functionality. IEEE-1394 bus is developing rapidly in recent years, a high-speed serial bus, which has developed rapidly, high transfer rate, low price and so on. With a greater information carrying capacity, strong anti-jamming capability, low signal loss, security, stability and other characteristics Optical fiber communication technology are widely used in the field of communication. Combined with their individual characteristics,proposed this topic- design and verification of network node in the fibre-optic 1394 bus based on So PC.First of all this paper describes the advantages of fibre-optic 1394 bus, we analyze the background and significance of the status at home and abroad and IEEE-1394 article, proposed thesis topics and summarize the IEEE1394 protocol, a clear structure of the protocol, data communication, packet format. Second of all, It describes the optical fiber 1394 FPGA development processes and implement a detailed talk about the realization of Xilinx EDK software development process and the AS5643 protocol processing module, PCIE host interface and DMA module. Where in the working status of each network node exchange data transfer mode is the core of the subject design.
