A Research On Zhejiang Tiantai County "2·18" Event With The Public Crisis Management Visual Angle

Nowadays our country is trying to solve the problems to make the state steady andharmony, and emphasizing innovating social management style and paths in the mean time. Under the background, how to treat the emergency public crisis correctly and effectively has become the hard and important task to the local governments.Taking Zhejiang county "218" event as an example, This paper analyses the coping strategies, experiences and deficiencies with the visual angle of Sociology, Management Science, Journalism and Communication, comparing with those domestic and foreignsimilar events. On the basis, this paper presents the recommendations. Firstly, the author argue the necessity of the research. Then, the paper dissects the example from the event’s mechanism of public opinions, experiences, and deficiencies. Thirdly, the author discusses the sample with the view angle of public opinion inducting and communication coordinating. Lastly, the paper present the commendations.The main innovation points include: Firstly, ability of disposing sudden events public opinion has become local governments leaders’ basic requisite. Secondly, the paper present that the standing and function of the mass media in the new social station shouldbe recognized, and the local government should know better the media’s management law and use the mass media in the social administration. Thirdly, the paper recommends that the local government should resolve the original problems quickly according to the laws and regulations. Trying to elevating the abilities of utilizing the mass media especially the new media. Fourthly, the paper gives the enlightenments in three aspects including the coordination the local governments and the media, responsiblity of local government’s leaders in the disposal of sudden events, adapting to the supervision of public opinion. Lastly, the author figures out the future research direction.
