In recent years, China’s printing and dyeing industry vigorously developed, rankingfirst in the world, to become the world’s first printing and dyeing cloth-producingcountries. While domestic dyeing and finishing enterprises are mostly small andmedium-sized labor-intensive private enterprises, lack of core competitive advantage.With further intense competition, dyeing and finishing products, quality requirementshigher and higher, but profits increasingly thin. All this makes the management feelunprecedented pressure. Enterprise resource planning ERP is an advanced modernenterprise management mode, the use of integrated information management system,can solve the above problems.This thesis takes Shanghai DiLe international trade limited company’s actualoperation as the background,the integration of advanced ERP management concept,combined with the actual situation of enterprises, the existing enterprises to local areanetwork as the foundation, use the C/S system structure, with SQL SERVER asbackground database, using Visual Basic6as the development tool, development ofsmall and medium-sized dyeing and finishing enterprise information managementsystem.This thesis describes the domestic and foreign enterprises to the developmentsituation of ERP, and the main related technology is introduced. Focuses on the dyeingand finishing enterprises information management system demand; introduces thedatabase design process, including entity relationship E-R graph of the establishment,main table logical structure design; the system module system login, user permissions,basic information management, sales management to achieve a detailed introduction tothe system testing; a simple description; finally the paper summarizes, for this system’sfurther improvement prospect.
