The world is entering Industry 4.0. The core content of the industrial revolution is the Cyber-Physical Production System(CPPS for short), It combines the information world and the physical world, which makes real-time perception, dynamic control and information service real in a large engineering system. Dyeing and finishing has been a traditional process of our country. However,our country’s present process of dyeing and finishing is still very backward. There are several reasons resulting to this situation. Firstly, the intelligence of the equipment is extremely low.Secondly, the data of the whole process of dyeing and finishing can not be gathered efficiently.Lastly, there is not such a platform to make production resources from different areas into good use.To solve the above problems, this paper makes a thorough study of the CPPS of dyeing and finishing and designs the Agent Management System in the CPPS of dyeing and finishing. This paper tries to manage all the equipment in the form of Agent, which obviously improve the intelligent degree of the company. The main research results of the paper are as follows:1) it makes a study of the equipment in the proceed of dyeing and finishing and divides them into several types, bringing convenience to the subsequent design and development.2) Using WeX5 APP development platform, it realizes the functions of adding equipment and browsing equipment in the CPPS of dyeing and finishing to convenient companies and consumers.3) it designs a kind of autonomous control system architecture and the specific implementation steps based on the hybrid method, and realizes the proceed of self-adaption in a continuous pad dyeing machine and discusses the feasibility of it.4) it simulates the proceed of cooperative work between the main dyeing machine and the alternates agent and the common agent on the JADE Platform, which meets the feature of self-adaption and sociability of the Agent.5) through the practical application and test of system, this paper has verified the Agent Management System has met the demand of the CPPS of dyeing and finishing, and the system has a certain application value.
