At present, domestic scheduling and statistics dealing are mainly carried out by thepersonnel department of a company, but there are many problems in its rationality andeffectiveness. In addition, it is tedious to cope with the after-work statistics, and thereare such shortcomings as omission, inaccuracy and low efficiency. In order to providethe effectiveness and rationality of scheduling, and to facilitate daily management andhuman resources management of many companies, it is urgent to design and developrelevant information system which will help to improve working efficiency and willmake it more convenient for managers to do decision analysis. This paper aims for theresearch and implementation of the scheduling management system.This thesis mainly discusses the whole research process of the schedulingmanagement system and the way in which it is developed and realized. By analyzing theneeds and conditions of development, it combines the structured development methodand the object-oriented development method. The analysis and design of the schedulingmanagement system is based on the software engineering development process whichprovides the possibility of the database design and implementation and the realization ofthe function of the modules.The scheduling management system will finally be put into use after it iscompleted, and the main function modules include the front counter module and thebackground general manager module. The front counter module is mainly composed ofthe cashier login and operation, the arrangement of work shift and duty, the service forscheduling, and the task of recording sales statistics. The background module, largelyoperated by the general manager, is responsible for monitoring the whole duty andservice process, analyzing the service efficiency, doing sales situation statistics,inquiring all kinds of summary data, setting the basic system data,and adjusting therelated purchase demand.In addition to the good implementation of its function, this system focuses on thesetting of scheduling principle and decision support. According to the needs of thecompany managers and the demand of the work operation, it optimizes service module on the basis of certain scheduling shift principle, as a result, artificial operation will bereduced,and fairness and transparency will be available. What’s more, it can provideclassified statistics of the staff’s sales amount, their working hours and workingefficiency. Those figures not only show the staff’s working ability which presentsnecessary data for managers to make decision but also show the commodity salessituation which provides data basis for the company’s purchase decision.The system, by using excellent software development framework, reasonablefunction module partition, and optimizing programming technology, will finally realizethe goal of scheduling management and meet the original requirements. It ends in thecompany’s being satisfied with the system and paying back. At the same time, thedevelopment process is going to be presented in this thesis.
