Nowadays,mass media is becoming stronger and stronger,and mass culture is penetrating into all aspects of society.As one of the most important means for the reproduction of the social culture,consequently,school is inevitably affected.Mass media and mass culture have two sides of influence on school education.On the one hand,mass media liberate the minds of teachers and students,and deconstruct the monopoly position of traditional textbooks,making the previous grand narration hard to exist.On the other hand,when mass media and mass culture tend to raise doubts about the absolute truth,however,at the same time,All this goes to show the extent of ideological confusion,that is,truth relativism and history nihilism become more and more prevalent,even slowly filtering into people's minds.Facing this reality,the traditional education aiming at cultivating the basic ability to read and write has become helpless.The new theory and practice of education,which advocates media literacy education to cultivate citizen in the Information Age,is coming into fashion.The paper is created under such a background.The paper is to employ the post-modern narration theory,start the narrative analysis from the contents and construction of the following different versions of Three Kingdoms:History of the Three Kingdoms,Romance of the Three Kingdoms,Appreciation of the Three Kingdoms,Boiling the Three Kingdoms and Chibi-a cinema and so,and then to describe that as the carrier of mass media,various post-narration of Three Kingdoms how to invade the authoritative knowledge of Three Kingdoms in traditional textbooks.Various post-narration of Three Kingdoms appeared in the form of mass culture totally overwhelm traditional narration of Three Kingdoms about classical portrayal of a person and the plot.At the same time,it brings a great challenge for students' conception of history and truth.Facing omnipresent media information,most students feel it hard to select from.Based on the analysis above,the paper presents the theory and practice about media literacy education.Specifically,the paper will carry out the basic analysis of the relationship between school education and mass media from the following three aspects:First,when school education contacts mass media,the tower of ivory firstly appears a scene:"the gods become orgiastic".The traditional,simple and unified campus culture is becoming ever more complex and intricate.Sense of value,language,and pattern of behavior of students have been directly influenced by mass culture.Facing this reality,the paper will employ the interviewing method to collect the information,mainly analyze that how different narrative versions of Three Kingdoms influent students' values of history and truth,and then discover that mass media and mass culture have two sides of influence on modern students:half is liberation, half is control.Second,at the same time mass media also has great influence on school curriculum and teaching methods.The information monopoly position of the school begins to vacillate,and teaching is also becoming a kind of amusement:traditional teaching methods,for example,using chalks and blackboard to present students knowledge,have to face violent challenge. Macromedia teaching has become necessary professional qualities for teachers.Most students are eager to have lectures interestingly just like watching TV,as relax as possible.Macromedia just can provide this kind of a recreational means,which conforms to the characteristics of the reading-pictures epoch.However,this kind of teaching method will perhaps have ruinously destructive effects on students' language and minds.We don't hope that Chinese characters are gradually disappeared with the coming of reading-pictures epoch.Third,therefore,most scholars hold that,in a media age,one of the possible approaches for school education is just to cultivate students' mass literacy.However,in the process of implementing mass literacy education,we should avoid that it could become another new means of control and ideology.In this point,both sociology of the curriculum and critical pedagogy hold critical perspective,which provide a strong choice and analytical arms,for instance the theory of teachers' enabling legislation.To sum up,there is integration between the mass media and school education.however,there are also conflicts.We must see these two aspects,and on this basis to explore possible ways of integration between the two.This is the historical mission for the Schools in the media time.
