With the wide application of information technology, the informationization of human resource management in college has brought about a great innovation on itself and the transformation of the management mode from the traditional mode into modern one, improved the management level and management efficiency as well, which is vitally important in the procedure of speeding up the modernization of higher education management. However, in the process of information construction, a certain quantities of college are not able to meet the requirements for present human resource management in college because of the existing problems in such aspects as system function, management of information resources, construction of information system, etc. In this case, the research and development of the human resource management information system with characteristics of college is of great realistic significance.This paper tends to explore the theory related to UML to define the modeling process and modeling tools at first, and then analyze the functional and non-functional demands of system on the basis of the analysis about the current situation of human resource management in C College. In addition, the author will obtain requirements and complete the analysis through cases study, and design the system from aspects of overall structure, static model, dynamic model, deployment diagram and so on, to present the main interface of system. What’s more, how the HRMS has been applied in C College will be studied in details to test the effectiveness of this system.
