Wireless sensor network technology is the hot research field of the frontier,is amulti-discipline intercrossing technology and has a wide range of applications in military,science,health,space exploration and other fields. Many of the experts,scholars and ITcompanies all over the world focus on this technology. In the case of referencetemperature,the reliability of computer drops 25% for every increase of 10 degreestemperature in the switch room. Due to the thermal expansion effect,disk and tape can’trecord data correctly. The UPS equips with lead-acid,sealed and maintenance-free battery,andthe service life of the battery will drop dramatically in the high temperature conditions.Thehigher the relative humidity,the thicker the water film formed by water vapor on the surface ofthe electronic components or materials,and this will cause the formation of conductivewaterway and the emergence of the arcing. Due to water absorption, plastics and rubberproducts will be deformed or damaged.In this paper,the wireless sensor network is applied to the temperature and humiditydata monitoring system. The paper mainly complete the networking of the wireless sensornetwork the design and simulation of the routing protocols,the hardware design and softwareprogramming of the node. The ZGB-LINK-212module is used in the hardware system and thecircuit consists of the microprocessor module,temperature and humidity data acquisitionmodule,RF transceiver,RS232 communication interface,JTAG interface and power supply.Software development is in Atmel’s AVR Studio software platform. The software systemincludes a main function and the initialization of SHT10 sensor,temperature and humiditymeasurement,data sending and receiveing,sending buffer initialization,channelinitialization,the AVR microcontroller IO port settings and LCD display subprogram functions.Finally,the system is tested in the real switch room.
