Among various tasks and works of advanced schools and colleges, teaching management is the core of school management works, meanwhile, students’ scores management can also be considered as one of the most important parts of teaching management. As the core of teaching management, students’ scores management must keep up with the time to achieve the scientific, efficient and precise management by using modern computer and network technology. It is of great significance to strengthen the establishment of informationization of teaching management, to improve teaching quality and management skill, to adjust to the development of modern society, to meet the need of socialist market economy and social development and to cultivate trans-century talents. Student management work is concerned with school, teachers and students parts. With the continuous revolution of school teaching system, especially the application and development of credit and course-choosing system, the daily work of manage and keep students’ scores become more and more complicated, which urgently need to research and develop a management system that has great power, easy operation part and excellent humanization.This thesis mainly deals with the process of researching and developing of a certain higher vocational college’s students’ scores management system. The thesis firstly illustrates the background and significance of development of this system, together with the research status of related study both at home and abroad. Secondly, with theory of software engineering and design approach and technology of object-oriented programming, the thesis analysis of the original college student achievement management business process, describes the business flow of the primary business of students scores management, analyzes system cases and fully demonstrates three kinds of participants:management administrators, teachers and students. Based on the analysis, the paper shows the design of basic functional modules of this system and illustrates the operation function of major participants respectively. In the part of system detailed design, by comparing between the cons and pros of C/S and B/S, the thesis mentions that this system finally chooses the B/S architecture which suits the situation of this college and also has the characteristics as cross-platform and distributed operation. After the architecture design, the thesis mentions system design, sequential relationship between system objects, establishment methods of system database and its cons and pros, along with the detailed design of the database which is used in this system. In addition, the primary functional module’s code design and implementation, the transformation and operation effect are also introduced in the following part. In conclusion, the thesis summarizes all works and prospects future tasks.
