With the acceleration of global economic integration, the increasingly sophisticated division of labor, China has gradually become a primary processing base of global electronic products. At the same time, Electronics assembly enterprises in china are facing increasingly fierce international competition. Quality of products has become an important factor for wining in the fierce competition. Six Sigma is one of the most important quality management theories; it has been widely used in numbers of industries. But there are still some problems in the application of electronic assembly enterprises.This article focused on how to use Six Sigma effectively in the electronics assembly enterprises. In the process of applying six sigma in electronics assembly enterprises, some common problems are as follows:There are problems that the sample is inconsistent in measurement system analysis, the factors were not notable in the design of experiment, and in the implementation of the statistical process control, data acquisition has problem with the unequal sub-group sizes and exceptions of points out of bounds which caused by some human factors.Due to the above problems, Six Sigma quality improvement tools can not be used directly. These problems must be analyzed according to actual production. It’s the only way to use these tools reasonably and effectively to improve or control production processes. The analysis and solution are as follows:Aim at the sample inconsistent problem in measurement system analysis, firstly, this paper analysed the inadequate of repeatability and reproducibility in the typical measurement system; secondly, the measurement system model for sample inconsistent problem was built based on analysis; thirdly, determine the relationship between each factors. With the analysis of variance, indicators of the measurement system analysis were given to evaluate the ability of the measurement system objectively.In the design of experiment, the problem of factors were not significant was analyzed from both objective and subjective aspects based on the experimental data.And proposed some solutions such as combining Single factor experiments and multi-factor experiments, expending the range of factors, seeking the precision measuring instruments for important factors.In the implementation of statistical process control, the problem of unequal sub-group sizes was soluted by drawing universal control chart on the compouter and calculating the control limits to determine whether the abnormal points. In order to avoid exceptions of points out of bounds which caused by human factors,clear the implementation process, set up reasonable standard limits and principle that not pursure process capability index blindly.With the methods above, the common problems in six sigma application of electronics assembly companies have been solved and achieced good results.
