The negative images of teachers against the public to know the real teachers also produce a series of bad influence to teachers’ life and work.In this paper, through analysis the image of teacher in news media, research the nature, quantity, and content of the relevant news, and then, the study found that the teacher is a negative image in current media. Excessive negative reports of teachers group will produce negative influence of body and mind, mainly displays in: undermine the teachers’ reputation and occupational prestige; weaken the teachers’ moral self-discipline, deteriorating working conditions of teachers; to reduce the influence of teachers and role models; subvert the teachers’ professional values and professional identity of these four aspects. Further studies have shown that due to vulgarization of people, the vulgarization of the news media, and the impact of the education market and the commercialization of the image of teachers in some social error values, just make teachers negative news reports emerge in endlessly. To solve this problem, the public and the news media should strengthen moral education, at the same time; teachers should also strengthen the moral self-discipline. I believe that through the efforts of all sectors of society, the negative one-sided reporting of the news media about the image of teachers wind will stop.This study in criticizing the news media to teacher image of excessive negative reports, but expect to be able to awaken a new awareness of the news media and ihe public image of teachers. The news media too much emphasis on the special sanctity of the teaching profession, the same time, and the ordinary nature of the teaching profession should also be given more attention. So that the public can be viewed from multiple angles to re-examine the image of teachers, the image of teachers will be more vivid.
