Study On Fellow-up Reports Of Negative News In Chinese Media

Thanks to the improvement of government’s information disclosure degree,fast development of the Intnet,and the enhancement of the public civil awareness,Chinese media becoming more and more mature in negative news reporting. But the fellow-up reporting is not very good.This is not only hinder the reports’function to reveal the truth, but also weaken the credibilityof Chinese media itself, and as a result,it results in the Tacitus effect.However,the good fellow-up news’effect is very giant.It can not only promote the change of certain regimes, policies and decisions,but also help media itself build a good reputation, improve the writing style, and thus effectively enhance the economic benefits of the media,and eventually formate the continuous stimulation effect.On the basic of the understanding above, this paper will focus on the analysis of the importance of the follow-up reports of negative news, make the research on the problems of follow-up reports by the data, and analysis the reasons at the same time,eventually propose feasible improvement strategy.
