The culture industry is a country’s strategic industry as well as one of measures to enhance its competitiveness of national soft power in21th century. As an important part of the culture industry, broadcasting industry of both social benefit and economic benefit, plays an important role in promoting the development of national economy, shaping regional characteristics image and adjusting the industrial structure. At present, Chinese broadcasting industry is in a very important period of transition. Facing the market of global broadcasting gradually open and more and more drastic competition, analysis of the status of Chinese broadcasting industry competitiveness and its influence factors, this paper study the ideas and measures to enhance its competitiveness of great theoretical and practical significance.Firstly, through the analysis and evaluation of Chinese broadcasting industry competitiveness and by comparison with some foreign media countries, such as the United States, Britain, Japan, Korea, this paper identifies the gap between China and other countries and find out the direction of the development of Chinese broadcasting industry. Secondly, based on "Diamond Model", we analyze the factors of Chinese broadcasting industry from six aspects:the factors of production, demand conditions, related and supporting industries, corporate structure and competition strategies, the role of government and opportunities. And then, combined with practice of Chinese broadcasting industry, we construct impact analysis model of Chinese broadcasting industry distinguishing results and reasons of competition. Then using panel data model, the study derives the size of factors under impact analysis model of Chinese broadcasting industry. Finally, in terms of the results, we put forward a series of suggestions to improve Chinese broadcasting industry competitiveness.Through empirical research, this paper gives some main conclusions. Firstly, culture consumption, innovation ability, government financial support has positive effect on Chinese broadcasting industry competitiveness. Human resources has two sides effect on Chinese broadcasting industry competitiveness. Culture consumption, innovation ability, government financial support has positive effect on broadcasting income and labor productivity. Human resources has positive effect on broadcasting income, but has negative effect on labor productivity. Secondly, the supporting business, financial development level has negative effect on improving Chinese broadcasting industry competitiveness. It shows that instead of enhancing broadcasting industry competitiveness, the current financial and industrial environment is seriously blocking ascension of its competitiveness. Thirdly, content resource has no significant influence on the broadcasting industry competitiveness. It explains that content resource fails to perform its due functions in enhancing Chinese broadcasting industry competitiveness. To improve Chinese broadcasting industry competitiveness, it requires to work hard in the content resource innovation and deeply exploring. Fourthly, the variable elastic coefficient of human resources and technology innovation is larger in numerous factors. It shows that human resources and technology innovation are the main motivating factors to improve Chinese broadcasting industry competitiveness.This paper makes a valuable attempt in the following areas. Firstly, using the indicators of industry competition results, we evaluate Chinese broadcasting industry competitiveness, in order to make objective understanding of Chinese broadcasting industry situation. Secondly, based on the impact analysis model of Chinese broadcasting industry competitiveness, we get the size of influences by panel data model.
