The Terminal Design Of Photovoltaic Remote Meteorological Data Acquisition And Transmission Based On GPRS

Meteorological data acquisition and transmission system is a technology using modernmethod to telemeter, transmit and process meteorological information. It is a method for solvingweather forecast and flood regulation. It is also an important step of meteorologicalmodernization construction.Meteorological data acquisition and transmission system consists of information monitoringcenter and telemeter monitoring terminal. The paper mainly studied and realized the design oftelemeter monitoring terminal. The software design of information monitoring center is alsorealized briefly. Telemeter monitoring terminal includes three parts:The first part is meteorological data acquisition. The paper analyzed the principle andcharacteristic of different sensors, and signal processing circuits suited for MCU sampling weredesigned. The MSP430MCU was used for voltage, current and frequency signals samplingwhich were converted by different sensors.The second part is power supply system of monitoring terminal. The system usephotovoltaic as its power supply. The paper analyzed in detail the design method of photovoltaicsystem, including PV and battery capacity configuration, automatic tracking solar energy system,MPPT, battery charge, battery power output, battery state of health, etc. Low power systemdesign is also discussed.The third part is GPRS data communication between telemeter monitoring terminal andinformation monitoring center. The paper discussed the characteristic of GPRS wireless datacommunication and related protocol analysis. The hardware and software of GPRS wireless datacommunication was also designed.The software of information monitoring center use C/S mode, the main function is datareceiving, processing and storage.
