The Study Of Information Literacy Instruction Platform Of University Library

The twenty-first century is the age of information, along with the rapid development for computer technology, communication technology and network technology, information is also generated and developed rapidly. Faced to this huge information, it gets more and more difficult that how to obtain valuable information and knowledge accurately and quickly, therefore, it has become an important research topic of the University Library that training college students’ information literacy, coaching them the knowledge of information resources, information awareness and moral information resources. With the development of information technology, the form of information literacy education has developed to network information literacy education from traditional classroom teaching, lectures and training.The study of universities library network information literacy education began in the1980s, now it’s already an important research topic for the university library. At present, although there’re some theoretical bases and practice for network information literacy education, there aren’t real theory and methods, it still needs further research and investigation. The design scheme of the system platform is raised in this papers based on related study.The main contents of this paper include:(1) Investigate and study the current status and development trend for domestic and international information literacy education and network information literacy education, then analyze the survey result and study the research content and target.(2) Illustrate the basic theory of information literacy education in details, and introduce the connotation, types, forms and characteristics of the network information literacy education (3) Analyze the platform for university library network information literacy education, mainly analyze and research the implementation environment and feasibility to the platform.(4)Design research on university library network information literacy education, and state detailed implementation process for all modules in the platform.(5) Set up the construction of university library network information literacy education, and introduce the characteristics of the modules in the platform in details.(6) Summarize the defects of this platform research and point out subsequent research direction.
