China Unicom Gansu Branch Wireless Target Network Planning

After the Chinese government issued licence for3G mobile communication in2009, the three Telecom Operators have invested heavily in the construction of the respective3G network. After3years of development, at present penetration rate of3G user has more than10%, which is the sign to enter the large-scale application of iconic inflection point.China Unicom has the WCDMA license, the most mature3G license. By the end of2011, China Unicom3G user already amounted to40million. In the limited capital constraints, how to build the WCDMA network effectively, improve the network coverage and network quality to the greateast degree, is the focus of China Unicom in the future.Chinese land area is vast, the geography, population and economy, development condition differ in thousands of ways, provincial Unicom network development strategy are not the same.This paper is based on the Gansu economy development present situation and analysis of Gansu Unicom Network status, combined with WCDMA evolution of technology and the demand of Gansu Unicom users, put forward future three years of Gansu Unicom network development proposal and network planning of focus on WCDMA, GSM network construction auxiliary. The paper also calculate and analyze the CAPEX of network, to provide the basic data for future planning and support the large-scale construction, This article provides the reference for arrangement of infrastructure construction to speed up the construction of3G network.
