The meter data collecting service is an important foundation for the power system business,and it is also an important reference data base for the plan of electricity production,energy attachment and power marketing.With the rapid development of information technology and hardware chip technology,the information transformation of meter data collecting business by using automated software management system for remote meter reading in power system is an important trend.And it could also monitor the underlying operating state of the power system for remote meter equipment to ensure the normal steady state operation of the meter.With the remote automatic meter reading software system,it can greatly reduce the work load of the power meter reading services staff to improve the accuracy of the meter reading and real-time data.This thesis analysis and researches the research and development process of the Remote Wireless Automatic Meter Reading Management Software in-depth.The research work in this thesis includes the basic theory of system development and technology research,the core function of the overall system architecture and module design solutions as well as system development realization.In the software development work study of the system,this thesis analysis and researches the remote server host Web services development and the underlying communication capabilities developed in-depth,and the meter reading device embedded Linux script development work is also analyzed.The power system management staffs can achieve the meter collecting data remotely through the Web service system in the Linux host.The main work of this thesis includes the following: The technologies used in the system development work are introduced and studied deeply,including the Modbus communication technology,Database development technology,Linux shell script development technology,etc.The function needing and performance needing analysis work of the system are studied in detail,as well as the system whole designing work,too.On the base of whole function module design work of the system,the remote server function model and meter reading equipment function model of the system is studied in detail.The remote server module mainly includes the Web service function and the background communication function.And the Web service function could provide meter reading data,meter reading equipment and other state information visual interface for managers.The background communication function realizes the data communication between the remote server and the meter reading device.The meter reading equipment module includes the Modbus/TCP protocol conversion processing function,the serial Modbus communication function,and the 3G wireless communication function.In the above functions,the Modbus/TCP protocol conversion function could achieve Modbus and TCP/IP protocol conversion between formats,and the serial Modbus communication function realizes the data communication between the on-site RTU unit and the meter reading device.The 3G wireless communication function in the meter reading equipment module could realize the communication between meter reading device and remote server.The design and realization work is the core study work of this thesis.The testing work of the system is studied in follow,including the function testing work,performance testing work,and as well as the system evaluation work.
