Foreign banks have greatly shocked our commercial banks since2001, whenChina entered WTO. The development of China’s banking industry is acceleratingthrough the efforts and innovation by every bank in China, which has quickly reduceddisparities between the banks home and abroad. But the exploitation of the basic worksuch as collecting data and information hasn’t been paid enough attention yet. Surveysconducted have indicated that the query and analysis system for the data still remains atthe same level as that of the late1990s. This has enormously restricted data analyzing,influencing the development of China’s banking industry.The aim of the thesis is to design an analysis system for the data which may helpthe decision-maker of the bank analyze the data by splitting, integrating, extracting andanalyzing the essential data.The thesis focuses on showing the data model that users need in the form of acertain pattern through OLAP (On-Line Analytical Processing) and the remodeling aswell as optimizing multidimensional engine. It also tries to find out the characteristicsand habits of the users’ when they make query. Meanwhile, banks’ management riskswill be reduced and their competitiveness will be improved.The system which designed here is based on the inline-net in bank. It used B/Sstructure, after extracting, cleaning and transforming; the data still need wafering, cuberestructuring and feed backing. After all of these, the data can be used for dataanalyzing.
