Entrance Examination Data Analysis System For The Design And Realization

With the development of information technology, all vocations are faced with new opportunities and challenges. As the focus of the whole society, educational examination, especially university enrollment examinations are also confronted with the social demand of improving the service of information. Data Warehouse (DW), On Line Analytical and Process (OLAP) and Data Mining (DM), as the new information processing technology rising in recent years, are playing a more and more important role in offering more high-level information service. In this paper, the author have introduced Data Warehouse and OLAP and Data Mining technology to information management of educational examination, and analyzed the data of enrollment examination, and also made some helpful exploration in how to support making decision effectively.The author have studied Data Warehouse and OLAP and Data Mining, then discussed the relevant concepts, development status, system structure and implementation in details; Meanwhile, through studying the data model of university enrollment examination, integrating with data obtaining technology, multidimensional modeling technology and OLAP in data warehouse, designed a data mart of university enrollment examination and thus developed a data analyzing system of university enrollment examination based on model supporting decision and OLAP and Data Mining.
