Application Research Of Data Warehouse And OLAP

With the rapid improving of information industry, the research and application of data warehouse and its related technology have become a hotspot in the database field. Based on the discussing of the basic conception and development methods of data warehouse, data market and OLAP, the author built the export sales data market of Liaoning textile import&export company, then realized the multidimensional inquire of sales data by OLAP tools, and developed the textile export sales data inquire/analysis system by MDX, ADOMD and ASP.net, which met the users' requirements.This thesis consists of six chapters. The first chapter introduces the present developments of data warehouse. The second chapter, the third chapter and the fourth chapter discuss the conception and development methods of data warehouse, data market and OLAP on details. The fifth chapter introduces the developing course of textile export sales inquire system. The last chapter draws a conclusion of this thesis and plans the future researching works.
