Intelligent logistics terminal is electronic auxiliary epuipment for logistic information, which has fast and vast information acquisition and processing, real-time display and data interaction, and high-speed data communication. Now the vast logistics information acquisition, real-time display and data interaction as well as high-speed data communication makes intelligent logistics terminal should have high performance. While the complex and multi-work circumstance require the terminal should also have low power consumption, small and excellent interaction characters. These requirements make intelligent logistics terminal hardware system high-speed, high density and diminutive. Therefore, high-speed circuit design, high-speed and high density intercomnection design as well as signal integrity constraints this terminal hardware system design.This dissertation mainly discussed about the design of intelligence logistics terminal hardware system based on ARM architecture, circuits of the system were discussed in detail and PCB design based on SI analysis method were studied, and at last finished the whole hardware system design. The main studies included:1) Requirements of intelligence logistics terminal were analyzed from function and non-function aspects, and then the hardware system principia and the whole framework were proposed.2) The schematic of clock, DDR2, power management unit, data acquisition and communication unit were designed based on hardware framework and combined with the criteria of high-speed circuit design.3) Summarized the SI issues about intelligence logistics terminal PCB design based on SI theories. SI simulation and verification method was proposed, and the feasibility of this method was analyzed.4) The PCB was implemented following the principles of SI simulation and verification, including stack-up design, power plane segmente and layout. In addition, serpentine line on slotted plane in high-speed circuit design was original studied. 5) Based on criterion of signal testing, signals of thintelligence logistics terminal hardware system were tested. Testing results measured up JEDEC79-F and Normal signal criterion.This dissertation achieved the design of intelligence logistics terminal hardware system based on high-speed circuit and interconnection design theories. Study results of serpentine line on segmented plane provided reference for high-speed interconnection design.
