In current electronic system, the scale of high-speed circuit is growing, the system integration is becoming increasing, the clock speed is becoming faster and faster and the signal transition edge is dwindling. Digital system circuit design methodology has transformed step by step from traditionally experiential design mode to that with high-speed system-level and based on theory of signal integrity. Low-speed system is commonly regarded as lumped parameter circuit, and the design of high-speed circuit should take distributed parameters into consideration. As a result of these, the transmission line circuit network model has come out.Several aspects including signal integrity, power integrity and electromagnetic compatibility in theory of signal integrity are first elaborated in this paper. Then, with the crosstalk and its inhibition overviewed, detail analysis is primarily presented of the signal reflection and its termination method in the signal integrity. In these aspects of modeling and simulation for familiar circuit units, modeling and simulation of circuit network model and finite element analysis model based electromagnetic field in HFSS are made in terms of the transmission lines. Then, modeling and simulation of circuit network model and finite element analysis model based electromagnetic field in HFSS are made in terms of the through-holes. The conclusion that the two modeling method raised in the paper are reasonable is given from the comparison between the two simulation methods and simulation tool HyperLynx.Finally, combined with the actual circuit, the modeling and simulation are presented by respectively using the circuit network model and the finite element analysis model based electromagnetic field in HFSS, and the optimization principles are given of the through-holes and the transmission lines. The detailed simulation is carried out regarding the actual circuit by using the simulation tool HyperLynx, through the analysis of which two approaches are given:analyzing the performance of the actual circuit network with the simulation, and figuring out how to optimize the circuit so as to reach the requirement for performance.
