In terms of high-definition signal transmission,HDMI has broader development prospects than traditional analog interfaces,and more and more display interface chips use HDMI.With the promotion of HDMI version,HDMI has developed from the original 1.0 version to the current 2.1version.The improvement of the version means that the transmission rate of the signal is getting faster and faster.Meanwhile,higher requirements are put forward for the transmission requirements of the signal.The HDMI 2.1 version single chain can support signal transmission at a maximum rate of HDMI 12 GHz.With the signal rate increasing,the signal integrity problems become more serious.In the thesis,the singnal integrity problem of HDMI differential transmission line was investigated and involved theory was studied.At the same time,a systematic introduction to HDMI was carried out in the thesis.From the basic structure of HDMI to the principle of FRL transmission,the test requirements of HDMI 2.1 indicators were analyzed.The simulation optimization link was anlalyzed in the thesis.Firstly,the basic transmission signal of HDMI2.1 was analyzed,and the simulation topology model was given.Simulation pointed out that the existing problems of the HDMI signals cannot be transmitted correctly.The designs of the passive components of the full link,including cables,PCB board-level wiring,HDMI connectors,and SMA connectors,were optimized in the thesis.Then,based on the optimization of passive components,FFE and CTLE active parameter adjustments were made to the HDMI signal.The optimization results were greatly improved from the HDMI signal before optimization cannot be transmitted to the signal quality after optimization.Successfully,it meets the HDMI2.1specification protocol in simulation.Finally,the HDMI transmission line was tested.The real test results were were compared and analyzed in the thesis.Through the comparison of test results and simulation,the correctness and rationality of the simulation optimization scheme were verified.
