With the signal transmission rate of the high speed digital circuit continuously improves,the data signal trace density gradually increases,serpentine traces are also more widely used in this field. The impact of different types of serpentine traces to signal transmission is concerned by more and more high speed circuit designers.This work was supported by a grant from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (No.61161001), exploring various of types of serpentine traces signal integrity problem. Using software simulation system design specifications Sigrity Power SI, Sigrity Speed2000.According to the existing software simulation system, hardware platform for all possible serpentine trace,Setting the related parameters, reducing the reflection.Modifying the trace mode for the research of the serpentine signal resonance characteristics. The serpentine traces return loss is smaller and bandwidth is wider. With various types of simulation frequencies,simulating horizontally and vertically to form a measurement and optimization processe for a high speed serpentine trace design. Analyzing with the the reflection oscillating voltage on the simulation results obtained. Compared with the actual measured time domain waveforms, ensure serpentine trace is accurate and scientific,Providing important reference for the future high speed circuit design.
