With the development of IT technology and telecommunication industry,Especially video decoding chips improve performance and network bandwidth increase constantly, Video conference business have favorable conditions of product development and product application. Video conference allow users in different sites to achieve the remote calls and remote video. Companies use video conference system not only can reduce business and the cost of travel, but also improve the work efficiency.Nowadays, more and more companies are ready to deploy and use video conference system.In the video industry,H company is an challenger as to providing domestic video conference systems, while Polycom, Huawei company took the lead.At present, Cisco, Microsoft, Logitech and other international big company also bullish on video conference industry,which have started to enter the video conference or business areas, even took the lead through direct acquisition. H company face the fierce competition pressure in video conference industry, how to make full use of the development opportunities of video conference industry and get solid lasting business values in the market competition, creating more profits for shareholders, which will be major issue for H companies.Strategy is designed to develop core competitiveness and obtain the competitive advantage in a series of comprehensive, coordinated agreed and action. The author use the knowledge of strategic management and related knowledge, This topic was studied from the strategic point of view.First, this paper make an outline of the basic theory of strategic management, the domestic and foreign research situation and video conference industry, analysing in detailed the macro environment, video conference industry competitive situation, development trends, industry status of main competitors in the video conference industry, development strategy, and competitive advantages and disadvantages and so on, thus concluding that the video conferencing industry will get sustained and rapid economic development in next three to five years, industry competition is becoming increasingly fierce, the video conference service developmentwill be integrated and other important conclusion. Then, based on the full understanding of enterprise internal resources and ability,this paper conclude that competitive advantages and disadvantages and the future opportunities and threats of H company. And then, based on the analysis of front output,developing the optimal cost plus industry customized competition strategy for H company video conference business, and expounding the strategic choice basis and sandbox exercise test.. Finally, this paper made specific safeguard measures for H company, so as to make the optimal cost and industry customized competitive strategy in each department of the company and the business have been implemented successfully to provide security, ensuring the successful strategy.The value of this paper is to clear about the video conference of industry competition situation, development trends,as well as the H company’s competitive advantage and future opportunities, establishing H company optimal cost plus industry customized strategy for H video conference service, thus providing decision support for building core competitiveness and ensuring that the future market continue to success.
