With the improvement of quality of life, the care treatment of geriatric chronicdiseases and universal sub-health has become health problems which are urgently needto address. While the traditional contact-diagnosis mode does not meet people’sgrowing huge demand on the health care. Meanwhile, the traditional diagnostic modehas brought huge challenges, because of the shortage of resources, time and poorefficiency. With the development of science and technology, the telemedicine care meetsthe demand of the health care services by providing intelligence, automation, remoteand other aspects in medical and care means, and various kinds of high-tech medicalcare schemes and systems have been derived. Currently, as a mobile platform, Androidhas more power and more potential users, and naturally becomes a priority in the designand development of a new telemedicine system. As a part of the medical care system,Android mobile terminal has the incomparable advantages of other platforms in datatransmission and application development, and has more prospects.The thesis introduces the design and implementation of the mobile terminal of thetelemedicine care system, and focuses on the communication and positioningtechnology. According to the trends of the telemedicine care industry and the demand ofthe actual project, and after the overall design, detailed design and progressiverealization, the mobile terminal, based on the Android platform, has five functions suchas the communication function, memory function, display function, positioning function,warning function and so on. These functions respectively complete the instructioncommunication and data transmission among the mobile terminal, physiological dataacquisition front end and the backend server, the physiological data storage in themobile terminal, the current and historical physiological data’s graphical display, thecurrent position information acquisition of the cared patient, and an emergency triggertip or alarm task. The mobile terminal plays the role of a bridge of communication inthe telemedicine care system, and combines the patient, hospital and family to providethe most perfect telemedicine care service. The mobile terminal has three operatingmodes such as regular monitoring, real-time monitoring and query monitoring, throughadopting different physiological data collection and transmission time strategy to meetthe care needs under the different conditions. In the process to achieve these functions,Bluetooth, GPRS, SQLite, GPS positioning technology, the base station positioningtechnology and Android technology are used to provide guarantee for the normaloperation of the mobile terminal.The mobile terminal runs on the Android platform, through communicating with the acquisition front end and the backend server to constitute a complete telemedicinecare system。It is used in small and medium-sized urban health service centers,community hospitals and other medical service agencies to provide medical careservices for the area of the chronic patients and sub-health groups by collecting andanalyzing the physiological data,such as body temperature, heart rate, blood pressureand so on.
