With the rapid development of the global economy, people pay attention to location information more and more,especially for the rapid development of logistics and other industries in recent years. On the military side, the importance of location information is self-evident. Based on the application environment, the positioning terminals contain the vehicle-mounted(such as a vehicle navigation system) and the handheld (such as a mobile phone) or for a specific device (such as aircraft, mine cars).These positioning terminals usually only meet the needs of outdoor positioning or indoor positioning, and can not combine both of them. At present, in the outdoor positioning, terminals by GPS of the United States are common, and terminals by Beidou Positioning System of our country are less. Developing positioning terminals by Chinese autonomous satellite positioning system is of great significance. In indoor positioning, there are a variety of positioning technologies, such as RFID, WiFi, Zigbee, infrared positioning, etc.In this paper, a location service system is introduced, which is based on Android platform, and the location service system providing indoor and outdoor combination positioning is realized by the CNSS and RFID radio frequency technology. The system provides temporal information, spatial positioning information and data communication services. The system is divided into two parts:one is the intelligent location service terminal to provide space service and location service using Android to achieve;the two is intelligent location service platform to manage all the positioning terminals. The intelligent service platform is the management system of intelligent location service terminals, whose subject is a Windows-based application to provide functions such as geographic information system (GIS) displaying, tracking and playbacking records, commanding and controlling, and accurate timing. The intelligent location service terminal is divided into positioning terminal and Android control platform. The positioning terminal comprises Beidou Positioning module, GPRS module, RFID module, providing BD-2 positioning, BD-1 short message communication, based-on-GSM-network GPRS communication and RFID indoor positioning functions, with an Android control procedure.The system combines the Beidou Positioning System and RFID positioning technology, which can realize the seamless switch between indoor and outdoor positioning. Intelligent location service platform can manage several intelligent location service terminals at the same time, and communicate with them. The positioning terminal adopts the modular design.Each module has a high degree of integration and the independence between the modules is high. The Android system is used to control the system, which provides the interactive interface such as text communication and map display. The test results show that the system has high accuracy, reliable communication and low power consumption, and can be used in vehicle environment.
