With the rapid development of economic and improvement of people’s quality of life. People’s health concept and consciousness have greatly improved, the number of people suffering from infectious diseases and plague are decreasing. But with the increasing pressure of social competition and intensity of average individual work. People now begin to use tired to describe their situation, and tired is a common manifestation of subhealth in the very great degree. Our country is entering into the aging society, the proportion of the elderly population will significantly increase. Heart diseases endanger the health of these two types of people seriously. With the advances of electronic and communication technologies, telemedicine and other new medical services will gradually rise. The traditional hospital-centered health care will reduce gradually. Accordingly, families, communities, health care and other services will increase. In this background, low cost, low power consumption, intelligent, portable family and community medical health care is becoming a requirement of society.Remote medical is closely related to development of biomedical technology, signal processing technology, embedded technology, and wireless communication technology in diagnosis, treatment occasions. It aimed at mobile remote medical monitoring for relieving the social problem of high expense and difficulties in treatment, improving the efficiency of doctor’s diagnosis, and ultimately to share some of the physiological parameters of patient between patient and hospital, hospital and hospital.This paper presents portable telemedicine system solutions, by collecting and transmitting patient’s oxygen, blood pressure, and ECG data through ZigBee network. It can be displayed locally by MFC host computer or uploaded to server via GPRS network. It can be dynamic displayed by WEB page.In this paper, I complete the work of hardware and software design of ZigBee and GPRS module. It provides real-time transmission of ECG, blood oxygen data, blood pressure data. It can achieve two-way transmission of data through ZigBee mesh network. It can realize broadcast, point-to-point, multicast communication between coordinator and router or end device. The coordinator device can also send commands to other devices to make it sleep or wake. In the process of system design, I solved the network problem of node off when it leaves the ZigBee mesh network by using automatic network start and repair. The sensor monitor software can be used to achieve real-time monitor address, power, temperature, voltage information of the monitoring nodes. The batteries can be periodically replaceed to achieve the purpose for multiple reuses. The network system transmits the data with low bit error rate, short time delay, less bit conflict. It can achieve real-time transmission of physiological data remotely to realize portable remote medical monitoring purposes.
