With people's increasing demands on life convenience in modern society,location-based service has become more and more important.Currently,well-developed outdoor positioning means include the US GPS and Russian GLONASS satellite navigation system,and China has also developed independently the Compass satellite positioning and navigation systems.Such global positioning systems are able to allow outdoor users access to highly-efficient and convenient positioning and navigation services.Due to restriction in satellite signals,it is difficult to receive desirable satellite signals when users are staying indoors,as a result,such positioning systems often perform poorly in positioning services when placed indoors.In view of this,the indoor positioning system has been emerged and developed.The paper was composed right under this background,in a bid to probe the design and implementation of positioning systems used in museums.Currently,the mainstream indoor positioning way include infrared technology,UWB technology,WLAN technology,ultrasonic positioning technology and Bluetooth technology,which were respectively studied and compared in the paper.In consideration of the convenience in system implementation and application prospect,the positioning way was based on Android and Bluetooth 4.0 technologies finalized in the paper.The paper was composed of a series of efforts,which was shown as follows.Firstly,efforts were made to study and summarize various existing mainstream indoor positioning means,and enactment the indicators of positioning system.Secondly,studies were made into Bluetooth signal filtering processing algorithm.Comparisons were made among recursion average filtering,median filtering and Kalman filtering through experiments and simulations.Kalman filtering,achieving the most desirable filtering effect,was chosen for filtering system signals.Thirdly,efforts were made to explore positioning algorithm.Theoretical studies were made into distance-measuring-mode-based trilateration positioning methods,minimum distance methods and location-fingerprint-feature-based location fingerprint methods.Experiments on distance measurement were conducted as well.Analysis was made of advantages and disadvantages of various positioning means.The location-fingerprint-feature-based location fingerprint methods were finalized as positioning method in the paper.Besides,fingerprint training formula and positioning formula during the positioning stage were brought forth in paper,and stipulate the arrangement of location reference points.Fourthly,modular design was adopted to complete the design and development of Android-based positioning software,for the benefit of subsequent maintenance and upgrading as well as better development efficiency.At last,systematic verification tests were conducted.Positioning tests were carried out at the dormitory passage and lab respectively,the results showed that the designed position system was able to be a good positioning product,with desirable positioning performances.
