In the field of industrial measurement and control, in order to obtain the maximumprofit, the business demands increasingly to the cost and energy. Driven by intelligenceand networking, an easy-to-manage, high-reliability, low-cost industrial measurementand control network is becoming the new development goal. As an emerging technology,ZigBee is very adequate for building the industrial measurement and control networksespecially in the harsh environment which is not suitable for manual operationenvironment, because it has many advantages, such as low cost, low energyconsumption, low rate. ZigBee can automatically maintain the entire network, therebyreducing the cost of monitoring and control network, and focusing on the production.Depending on the practical application, there are several deficiencies in ZigBeenetwork, for example, ZigBee network can not communicate with the external network,if the energy consumption of each node is not balanced it is likely to cause the isolatedpoints. In order to solve these problems, the paper present a new method that the nodecan convert the identity easily, and a ZigBee-based industrial measurement and controlnetwork to achieve communicating industrial measurement and control networks withEthernet. First of all, the paper discusses the research background, objectives andcurrent research status and the key technologies about building ZigBee-based industrialmeasurement and control network; Secondly, it describes how to build a ZigBeenetwork for measuring temperature and humidity from the perspective of both hardwareand software, and proposes a improved algorithm network based on the current routingalgorithm which has been validated by matlab, it also realizes that the router and theenddevice can conversing the identity mutually by control commands. By selecting theappropriate serial to Ethernet module for the integration of the ZigBee network withEthernet, a dedicated landing pages written in JAVA language is used for checkingparameter data upload by ZigBee network and the information of each node and sendingcontrol commands to each node in the ZigBee network, so Ethernet can share the datawith the ZigBee network.This issue not only proposes the new method proposed in theory, but also designssoftware and hardware and tests on the spot in the actual, at last the initial design goal iscome true, and it enhances the practicality of ZigBee network, and lays the foundationfor the further development of the communication ZigBee network with other network.
