This article designs a low power consumption system of wireless transmission based on ZigBee. The routing protocol and MAC protocol was improved. The simulation and comparison of the improved protocol show its positive effect to the whole network. Improved the algorithm, and design and introduced the system hardware and software.(1) This paper present an improvement of TR protocol for ZigBee network and is called Improved Tree Routing protocol which is computationally simple in discovering the better path to transmit data packets to the sink node, and does not need any addition in hardware. Improved TR determines the better path to the sink node depending on the tables of the neighboring nodes, which is part of the existing ZigBee network specification. Results show that the proposed algorithm provides shorter average end-to-end delay, increase throughput, decrease the average number of hops and decrease the energy consumption from the network when compared to the original TR routing protocol.(2) The energy efficiency is an important performance target to extend the lifetime of wireless sensor networks (WSN). The idle listening of sensor nodes is the major cause of energy waste. Many typical MAC protocols are designed to save power by placing the radio in the low-power sleep mode. Thus a new energy-efficient division-frame MAC (DF-MAC) protocol is proposed for wireless sensor networks. DF-MAC has two main characteristic:low duty cycle and low number of collisions. Sensor nodes in DF-MAC have a very short listening time which would reduce the energy required to communicate with other nodes. The number of collisions is minimized in DF-MAC. This can save the energy required to re-send the corrupted packets. Simulation results show that compared with the existing MAC protocols, it has much better performance of the energy consumption.(3) This paper proposes a design of the low power consumption based on ZigBee wireless monitoring system. First is wireless system of wireless transmission of the overall design of hardware, and then divided into two parts, the RF board and master control test plate, the design descriptions. The circuit principle diagram of the main parts, PCB figure and real figure had been shown. Software development tools selection IAR Embedded Workbench, and its advantages are illustrated. Introduced the PC detection software Z-Sensor hand to use method and main functions are illustrated. Illustrate the simplicity of manipulating the system.
