Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a front hot research field highly cross-integrated by multi-discipline. The experts and IT companies all over the world pay close attention to it. As a new kind of technology, ZigBee technology develops fast and has a wide range of applications and broad application prospects with its low cost, low power consumption, short time delay, large network capacity and other advantages. Now, ZigBee network technology has been applied in industrial monitoring, precision agriculture, intelligent home, biomedical and many other fields to some extent.It is start from the wireless sensor network technology in this paper, focusing on analysis of ZigBee technology ZigBee protocol-depth study of four structures and characteristics for the task of improving the design of ZigBee network software and hardware, and applied to agricultural and industrial monitoring system, the preparation of the host computer Software designed to monitor network data and topology, and experimental verification of the thesis is the result.Following works completed mainly in this paper:1. The general planning for system is designed. CMOS single-chip system CC2430 selected as the CPU, Modular design, were designed to complete the wireless core module PCB, the coordinator node in the external circuit PCB and the external circuit terminal PCB.2. Based ZigBee2006 protocol stack, were designed star network and cluster tree network protocol network protocol network, the design is completed based on VB6.0 the host computer monitoring software used to verify the network structure, thus proving the correctness of network protocols.3. The design of the nodes in the network based on ZigBee for the substation temperature detection system and agricultural greenhouse temperature and humidity monitoring.Through experimental tests to verify system design is correct, to obtain the desired results.
