Our country’s comprehensive strength has continued to grow and the country’s infrastructure construction and real estate industry have continued to maintain a rapid development which has been spurring the growth of the building materials industry. Since most brick kilns are basically managed by peasant family or self-employed entrepreneurs, with small scale, less investment, primitive technology of sintering and artificial experience and visual observation to produce bricks, there are disadvantages of inconsistent quality of sintering, economic efficiency is not high and serious environmental pollution. However, there is very little research on domestic brick kiln temperature monitoring and control system. Whether to consider the social value or economic value, we are in serious need of making a brick kiln temperature monitoring and control system with modern detect and control means.As one of the most important burnt equipments in the tile industry, tunnel kiln already obtained more and more widespread application in sanitary ceramics, building materials and other tile production process. With the demand for industrial products increasing in China and the industrialization process accelerating, as well as the establishment of the scientific concept of development, the requirement is urgent to improve the efficiency of the kiln stove control, to reduce energy consumption, to change the traditional industrial kiln stove structure and low productivity, to improve the atmospheric environment. So, study of advanced tunnel brick kiln control system is very important. However, The measuring and control system of tunnel kiln already developed from early instrument control to modern control system, such as computer system application, DCS system and fuzzy control technology application. However, the tunnel kiln process automation is relatively low compare to other countries. That restricts the improvement of the tile products quality, and result in huge energy consumption. Therefore, it will have an important theory and practical significance to improve our tunnel kiln process automation through computer system application while through system management.Because of its great inertia, serious time-lag and the difficulty to establish an accurate mathematical model of the object, Tunnel Brick Kiln Temperature System is difficult to control. A duty in this thesis is to study a kind of appropriate control method to the temperature of the tunnel brick kiln. Its’technology requirements are: regulating time must be short, overshoot must be small and the control system must be stable. In this thesis, fuzzy control system are simulated by using Simulink and fuzzy logic tools in MATLAB.When fuzzy control is used, regulating time and overshoot always can achieve the specification, but system cause steady-state error. So it comes to a new method of combining them together. The patameters of kp, ki and kd are adjust by fuzzy inference. Experimental results illustrate that the fuzzy PID controller achieved the system performance index. The method of fuzzy PID control is a ideal method.
