Research On WebGIS Generation Tool Based On GIS

As advances in the Internet technology development, more functions of GIS have been evolved to take advantage of the development, resulting in great prosperity of the application of WebGIS. Compared with ordinary website , There is technical difficulty,a long construction period, high development costs, and low recycling rate in the building of web geographic information application systems. So,it is necessary to develop an WebGIS generated tool .The tool dose not need to introduce or train of specialized technical person. At the same time, it is not only reduces the cost but also shortens the development period. In the case of without writing code, the common site technicians, through the interactive graphical configuration ,can development the required WebGIS application system.On the basis of studying the status of WebGIS and technology,the paper Introduces system analysis, design and implementation of the tool which based on the ArcGIS platform and . NET technology. This research was supported by a grant from Hebei Province Engineering Research Center For Information Technology In Agriculture——“The application of GIS tools based on Web to Agricultural Science and Technology website”The research priorities of paper:(1). After researching the WebGIS clients generally demand , the paper designed a working model that automatically generates the WebGIS user page. The model gave a workflow of generating a WebGIS page. It began in the user-supplied vector layer, through the related configuration, it generated a WebGIS service page which the user need.(2). Based on ArcGIS platform,the paper designed the software architecture of the WebGIS generation tool and divided functional modules . In addition, the paper designed spatial database.(3). Based on . NET technology, the paper developed the WebGIS generated tool.It researched ArcObjects、ArcGIS Server and. NET programming API of ArcSDE spatial database interface.Then, using C # language and ASP.NET,it developde ArcGIS platform Secondary and achieved a WebGIS generation tool.Based on WebGIS generated model mentioned earlier, the tool provided users with a visual interactive configuration and complete the the WebGIS page release.The interactive configuration include editing layers、maintaining property data、restructuring release objects and releasing the page for WebGIS users to access.
