With the rise of technology of Internet of things (IOT), all countries in the worldare speeding up the process of the construction of the smart home. With the deeperresearch about semantic web and IOT technology, Smart Home application platformapplying IOT technology has a great chance as well as many challenges. Types ofdevices and structures of equipment for home space context-aware, applicationexecution, information storage, media sharing is becoming complex, understanding ofa large number of heterogeneous data integration and interoperability is becoming thetechnical problems highlighted by the household data space, which both severelyrestrict the smart home industry developments. In this paper, I propose an overall designing of smart home system based onsemantic fusion, and provide a smart home semantic fusion model JSDF (SemanticData Fusion Based on Jena) to establish a general method for describing thehousehold data space ontology and a general flow path for semantic fusion. Semanticdata fusion benefits a lot, such as enhancing data accuracy and comprehensiveness, complementary between data, reducing data redundancy and improving theapplication in real-time, fault tolerance and economic. The smart home system in thispaper contains two parts: the smart home system hardware structure and theestablishment of the semantic fusion model.According to the current development of the concept of smart home, smart homesystem hardware structure, low-power design, the overall system contains three parts:home intranet, intelligent home gateway and monitor terminal via remote access. Thehome intranet is constructed based on ZigBee technology and is implemented by P2Ptechnology in access mode. Intelligent home gateway is the brain of the system. Inaddition to basic functions as an Ethernet gateway, a variety of communicationinterfaces are integrated in order to implement the IOT and provide interactionbetween wired and wireless network equipment in home intranet. Monitor terminalvia remote access uses a variety of wireless network access technology and ADSLaccess technology to achieve interoperability within the family intranet and theInternet, which implements an intelligent and unified management between homenetwork devices. Semantic fusion of smart home system model JSDF is logically divided into fourlayers, Home Data Space Adapter, Ontology Description Layer, Semantic ProcessingLayer and the Application Service Layer. The main function of this model is toachieve the semantics of data manipulation and management of the data space ofhome. The JSDF model is based on the Jena framework which is used to createsemantic web applications, which includes several parts: description of theheterogeneous data sources, establishment of the domain ontology, the applications ofinference engine system and establishment of reasoning rules, state estimation anddecision analysis using inference results for the fusion process. With above parts, wecreate a fusion structure model of home data space. After completion of the work, I use the case of the smart home fire alarm systemto specify process of creating semantic fusion for smart home system model. At thesame time based on the overall reasoning scheme, I give the reasoning algorithm forearly warning systems, and give the process flow chart and experimental results.Smart home system remote monitor client can remotely access and control of homesystems. I develop a mobile terminal program based on the Android open sourceoperating system and a monitoring and management program based on the PC sidewith B/S mode respectively in mobile phone and PC, and at the same time I analyzethe feasibility of storing the semantic data in cloud computing platform. Finally, a test is carried out in an experimental environment to value andoptimize the system. The test results show that under the conditions of the existingmobile network, the system can achieve the expected design goals, and complete thefunction of the smart home system. With the development of embedded technologyand the Semantic web technology, smart home system based on semantic fusion willhave a broader application space. The results of this study have some guidingsignificance and practical value in establishing the semantic representation and formaldescription of the home data space, which will cause a great change in home livingservice from tech-oriented to user-oriented.
