The Semantic Retrieval Research Of Education Administer System Based On Ontology

As a new technology of information retrieval, Semantic retrieval can retrieve information resource fully and precisely based on the knowledge understanding and knowledge reasoning. Ontology, which comes from philosophy and firstly used as other meaning in the domain of Artificial Intelligence, is very useful in the semantic retrieval, it can provide a flexible and full-scale mechanism of description and storage for the share and creation of domain knowledge.Ontology is the assisted method in the semantic retrieval. As ontology itself has certain degree of inference ability, we may use ontology to expand our query and thus causes the result to be more comprehensive; the author analyzed the definition, classification, building methodology. The paper introduces RDF, RDFS, OIL, DAML+OIL and OWL, especially the OWL. And gives an analysis and comparison of these languages, points out their characteristics with respect to some key aspects. The paper makes a comparative study on the methods of building ontology, presents their limitations. The paper surveys and compares 5 familiar ontology-building tools by the aid of an evaluation framework, and draws a conclusion that Protege is better than the others. The paper presents in detail how to building EAO based on Protege, gives some reference to building ontology in the similar domain.We develop a prototype semantic retrieval system model based on our constructed ontology. We study its principle of construction. Then by analyzing circulation of construction, working flow methods of development .Then by analyzing circulation of system, we think that the semantic retrieval system based on ontology is more round and exact than the retrieval method based on keyword of traditional way. So it is very useful to research the issue ontology-based Semantic Retrieval.
