The Research About Construction Of Information Resources Of Sino-foreign Cooperative College Library

The Sino-foreign cooperative education institution is a new thing of the higher education in China. Since its birth, it develops very fast and China has trained a large number of higher education personnel with its unique educational patterns and characteristics. It gradually becomes a force of Chinese higher education which cannot be ignored. But over the years, research on the Sino-foreign cooperative College Library is rare. Because of its environmental, Sino-foreign cooperative college library is quite different with the general university library in Institutional, management, resource development. So I hope I can do a good job in researching the Sino-foreign cooperative college library with this article and make more researchers notice it.This paper is divided into five parts to start on. As an introduction in the first part of the paper is the background, significance, innovation, and research method. Domestic and foreign research is very scarce now because the search has just launched. I studied the results of researching of Independent Secondary College Library because of its Similarity with the Sino-foreign cooperative college library, and it will helpful.The second part of the paper is the overview of the development status of the Sino-foreign cooperative college library. First introduce the history of this type of libraries. And then focuses on a detailed resource construction of10typical cases. Then take the library of SIAS international University as a example to show its resource construction. And compare the SIAS library with the other Sino-foreign cooperative college libraries to find out the common features.The third part of this paper is the situation of Sino-foreign cooperative college libraries now, including its information resources construction, document acquisition work, literature distribution and collection, electronic resources, construction, etc. The library of SIAS international University is also as a case.The fourth part is the strategy of the development of Sino-foreign cooperative college libraries and Information Resources Construction. It analysis the difficulty of the construction of the information resources and suggest some specific practices on the development of Sino-foreign cooperative college library’s Information Resources Construction. Also the strategy of library of SIAS international University is as an example.The fifth part is the conclusion of the paper.
